Jonah Lomu


Jonah Lomu is a famous union player here is in the New Zealand Rugby team. Jonah lomu was 196cm tall and 125kgs also he is masive but fast too.

Jonah was diagnosed in 1997 with kidney problems. He had dialysis in 2003 that caused nerve damage in legs and feet. Jonah was very lucky because Grant Kereama gave him his kidney and he made a recovery.

Jonah began a comeback in 2005. He was going to play in Wales and Hong Kong. Jonah Lomu retired from rugby in 2007.

  1. Hi Sebastian, your topic here caught my attention - Jonah Lomu. You are right, he is a famous rugby player that many people around the globe loved to watch. I like how you mentioned that he was massive yet very fast - hence his position on the wing. Does this remind you of Manu Vatuvei? I hope you get to watch some of his All Blacks games from the past. When he played at the Rugby World Cup 1995, I went with my brother to wait for the All Blacks at the airport on their return. Yes we were huge fans back then!     Your story really got me hooked to your interesting story about Jonah Lomu.I didn't know that he retired in 2007 as a good legend.
