Sonar

Sonar and Sound Pollution.

Even if its birds talking and dogs barking cicadas making weird noises. But animals that a underwater is hard to communicate.

There is thing called Sonar, sonar helps humans to find shipwrecks and undiscovered things. In the middle of all the sonar is underwater creatures like whales dolphins and other animals that use echolocation.

Sonar stands for sound navigation. Sonar was used to find the plane flight MH730

Tech@Tamaki College

Every tuesday Year 7 & 8’s goes down too Tamaki College and do tech. There a 3 groups, Graphics, Hard Material and Food tech.

Im in Food tech. Our subject for food is Healthy eating. Our first day we made Pasta something. My first group was Hard Material. In hard material you get this workbook where you fill in questions. I don’t know what you do in Graphics.

The second day we made Enchilada. You need onion,capsicum,garlic aioli, pasta, cheese, sour cream and 1 or 3 wraps.

My favourite is Food tech it's because you can eat.

Being safe underwater

Are you being safe underwater...? Too be safe you gonna need to swim 200 meters. Every year thousands of people die drowning. In New Zealand 97 people die frowning in 2008 So it’s really important that people go swimming lessons and learn the basics.

In summer people like going to the beach its because its free dont need to pay and these no life guards. The only thing is, sharks will eat them and the water is dirty. Now a days people go swimming lessons so they won’t drown.

Sebastian Sound

This is me and my groups first attempt at explaining sound.

Like many terms in science, Sound is formed from a vibration and from mechanical waves. in everyday use, sound refers to what the ear can hear. Sound can be pleasant unpleasant hard or soft high or low. The scientific meaning of sound is based on an understanding interaction between matter and energy, what the brain hears of sound or interprets gets its start from the energy of moving molecules of air.

When a guitar string  vibrates energy comes from vibrations. these oscillating sound waves can move through substances like water dirt or solid rock.

I don't really know if it's entirely true but it's what I heard.

When I find out a bit more I will tell you.

Fiafia night

Yesterday there was Fiafia. There was  28 groups,and I was in Senior Hip Hop.I felt pumped and keen to go and show people our dance. It was our first rehearsal. My legs were twitching like crazy. My heart was beating fast.

Before our dance was Bollywood Salsa.

While I was on the stage I felt so nervous. But when the song started my nerves just gained confidence.

The night was cold, so I had too put my jumper on.

News Report

During the weekends there was a misunderstanding, the weather was ridiculous crazy. Family were anxious, windows closed and doors shut.

Warning a huge cyclone is going to hit Sandy Bay and it might make a tsunami , families stay seated and don’t go out of your doors and make sure your kids are safe, because the cyclone is going to deconstruct homes, wreck land and slaughter people.

If you're thinking where the cyclone lusi came from ?, well apparently it started in the pacific ocean.

Two Different types of Empathy

Empathy is a ability to sence other people's feelings. Scientist researched on how to show empathy. By showing empathy is helping people if they feel lonely.

People identify that scenting is a good way because someone could act enthusiasm but in the inside they feel sad and insecure.

Today researches talk about two different types of empathy. The first type is affective empathy. Affective empathy means when someone feels sad. But when you see them sad you respond in your own way by go and help them or cheer them up.

Type two empathy which is cognitive. Cognitive means understating other peoples feelings and thoughts

News Report

On March the 23rd an incident happened in Queensland Australia, when a Skydiving trip went horribly wrong, claiming the lives of 5 people, including two kiwis. Rahi Hohua and Joey King, a  family of 7.

At the start of take off Cessna 206 had very low altitude when it took off, the engine stalled and the plane plummeted into the ground then bursted into flames.

When the plane burst into flames their bodies were very, badly burnt. This was Joey’s last  facebook status, “So I woke up this morning nervous, about the skydiving today. I'm about to conquer my greatest fear. I love everyone lol” That was his final words

Empathy!!

Empathy is a word that can explain someones feelings and putting yourself in their shoes. If someone is feeling lonely go up to him or her and ask, “hey do you wanna come play with us?”That’s what empathy might sound like if it was happening at our school.

On the playground or on the field, someone might be bullying you, this could make you feel unsafe. If someone came to help you, you would feel safe and grateful that someone cared.

When someone is feeling down go and put yourself in their shoes.

It is important that people show empathy because everyone can be happy, safe, care and everyone that can be

Juctice League - Injuctice

Once upon a time there lived a team named Justice League. In their League is Batman, Flash, Super Man, Green Lantern , Green Arrow, Cyborg, Wonder Woman , Aqua Man , Lex Luthor, Ares, Hawk Girl, Shazam and The Joker.

One day Joker was planning to nuke the whole world. Joker had plan this with his back up partner Harley Quinn. While Joker was planning to nuke the world, Justice League were fighting the insurgency the duplicated Justice League. Joker was about to set the nuke off but the Justice League the good one all looked at him and started to sprint at him. After they got near the Justice League sent them to another dimension.

When the League sent them to another dimension Joker and Batman had a fight. When they were fighting Joker quickly ran to the detonator to detonate the nuke but he couldn't cause he was in another dimension.
